Tenchi Bogyo Ryu ® World Centre first contest in UK.
First contest in UK by Tenchi Bogyo Ryu system.
17-21 August 2012 in Warrenpoint (UK), was held the International European Tenchi Bogyo Ryu® competition (Tenchi Bogyo Ryu® Kokusai Sodatsusen):
- Tenchi Bogyo Ryu® Kokusai Sodatsusen-no Randori-no Tanto Toriage - a disarmament of an armed opponent with the knife.
- Also Tenchi Bogyo Ryu® Kokusai Sodatsusen-no Randori-no Kata - Kata competition ("Kata" – in Japanese is a certain sequence of movements).
The competition was organized according to the different categories of competitors.
The winners of Tenchi Bogyo Ryu® Kokusai Sodatsusen-no - Randori-no Tanto Toriage competition:
1 place - Roman Maslivets (Ukraine).
2 place - Brian Flanagan (Ireland).
3 place - Sergejs Bulins (Latvia) and Peter Kyle (Ireland).
The winners of Tenchi Bogyo Ryu® Kokusai Sodatsusen-no Randori-no-Kata competition:
I category:
1 place - Peter Kyle (Ireland).
2 place - Vitalijus Siskovas (Lithuania).
3 place - Rimvydas Daugvila (Lithuania) and Brian Vernon (UK).
II category:
1 place - Brian Flanagan (Ireland)
2 place - Roman Maslivets (Ukraine)
3 place - Tomasz Lenkowicz (Poland) and Sergejs Bulins (Latvia)
The winners were presented with medals by Tenchi Bogyo Ryu® SOKE (XII Dan) Vladimiras Lisicynas.
